~ Brief Update ~

i noticed that the blog is in near-abandoned state..
so anyway, here's some brief updates..

FIRST, i attended Monash Ball 2009..

SECOND, i went to Langkawi (finally..after 2 years of whining) during mid-sem break..


it was super fun!

THIRD, my finals is coming..
nothing much to complain about this sem..
my first paper falls on 30th October..
second (last) paper is on 2nd November..
if i wanna find something to complain about, it'll be..
"my paper falls on my bday again!!!" T_________T

but since it's my last paper anyway..so i'll just shut up :D

well, i guess nothing much left..
other than the evening when the ppl in KL felt the earthquake's tremors..
that was the time i just reached back home in Ipoh..
fortunately, we departed from Langkawi one day before..
PHEW!

okay..i wanna play some games in fb now..tata!

~ More books ~

i was basically wasting my days away last Monday and Tuesday..
and on Wednesday, i decided to stop slacking and be productive..

rather than starting early on my assignment, i took out The Host and read..
i actually read few pages months ago but hesitated and halted it..
i was rather skeptical..don't get me wrong..
i like science fiction but not too much of it..
the first few pages of it sort of gave me the impression of being complicated..
and i hate imagining too many complicated things..so..i stopped reading..

and then wanting to be productive, i picked it up again on last Wednesday..
finished reading on Friday night..
to my surprise, The Host is very interesting..
it wasn't as complicated as i thought..
it even made me yearn for the sequels..

after that, i began reading Blood Promise immediately..
finished reading today..Sunday..
whoa..this book totally blown me away..
i did think the previous book is better but i don't dislike this book either..
and as i've predicted, Dimitri is still alive..
but i found myself drawn to Adrian..partly because Dimitri isn't Dimitri now..
i got a feeling Adrian's heart will be broken again since Dimitri is still alive and there might be a way to save him and get him back to being normal..
Rose probably will get back with Dimitri then..
and poor Adrian..
gaahh! i can't wait for the next book..MAY NEXT YEAR!! :D

anyway, both books kick ass!
got me to cry a number of times and made me stayed up til 6.30am++ and if i have no classes etc, i'll probably end up giving up my beauty sleep just to finish reading them..

can't believe i actually finished reading 2 books..a total of over 1000 pages..in what? 5 days? how i wish i can do the same when studying for exam..tsk tsk

and now i need to get back to my abandoned assignment :<

~ Parcel ~

there's this book that i really wanted and it was released in 25 August..
so during mid-August, i went to MPH and asked them about it..pre-order and things like that..
but apparently, no such thing for it :(

so i was kinda despo..
and like any other despo ppl, i googled..
borders, amazon, e-bay..
and i even found this bookstore where u can get a signed copy..(i really wanted a signed copy)
but u got to send email to duno who who after duno what what..
i hate doing a lot of complicated stuff and well, i'm just being lazy..

so i decided to go with amazon (got discount ma~~)
i wanted to choose the fastest delivery method..
haha..but the shipping fees really made my eyes bulged..
so i settled for the second fastest..and still the fees cost more than the book itself -_-
(no point choosing the last in my opinion)

estimated delivery date was 21 September..
but being the impatient me, i was hoping it'll arrive sooner than the estimated date..
therefore since last week, i'd asked my bf to check out the parcel list in the management office..
but no news..

but this morning i just had the feeling..
so i went there before going to uni..
and VOILA!~



it's there!!!! it's HERE!!!!
well, it arrived safely on 8th..should have checked on Tuesday..but oh well..
WHEEEE!!!!
my first ever parcel from amazon~~



the book was in great condition..no dents..
very nicely packaged..
so i guess it's worth the money?

i can't dive in the book yet though..
because i started on The Host on Tuesday and haven't finish reading..
like i said, should have check on that day then i would've already finished reading Blood Promise by now!

anyway, confession time..
i was so despo to the point i googled for the e-book on the released day..
and of course i found it..
BUT..i didn't open the file..haha..
i really didn't and i am so proud of myself for this reason :D
i can wait afterall..haha

somehow i really like the design of this building..
i would look at it whenever i passed it and that would be when i get back from ipoh..


i like the white curvy thing..haha

so lately, i have been thinking a lot bout certain stuff..
especially graduation..what am i to do after graduating?
i've been trying to figure it out since forever..
which company should i apply to?
what do i really want to do?
gahhh...!!

~ Entertainment During The Weekend ~

yesterday and today must've been the busiest time for Sunway Lagoon..
in fact preparations were made a week before that..

it was MTV World Stage yesterday..
i read somewhere that the gates opened at 3pm..
and around 5pm, many ppl had already arrived and stood under the light rain..




more and more ppl reached..
by then, there's no more rain (you can see reflections on the lake)..

woke up around 12.30pm on Sunday..
and the staff had already done some alterations for Eason's concert..
in fact, Eason was rehearsing few hours before the concert..


just wanna take the pic of the volcano..haha..
this happened at the beginning of Eason's concert..
but for MTV's, it was at the end..

anyway, the concert was quite awesome..
i got to know one of the song's name from Diana..
he sang it and i was sort of listening from my room and it caught my attention..
and i really wanted to know it so i went to Diana's room and asked her xD
the song was..uh..Fu Kua?

Eason's concert ended with a nice fireworks show..
it's a shame that i didn't take pic of it..
i was acting nonchalant and walked slowly out of the room when the fireworks started but in fact, i really wanna run out xD
i looooveee fireworks..but didn't want my roomie to think i'm some sa kai never see fireworks before..hahahaha

this time i took better pics since i have my digicam instead of using my hp camera..hehe

haha so basically i had another free experience again!
it's one of the perks of living in stupidly expensive hostel :)
gotta make the money worth it, right?

~ The Cs ~

i never really like anything that starts with C..
Cockroaches, Chocolates, Coffee..
there are exceptions though -- Cheese, Crab..

when i was a first year in uni, it never crossed my mind to get anything especially beverages in San Francisco Coffee..

but i did..food mostly..like sandwiches and soup..
and after some time, i started to buy drinks too..

nah, but not coffee..haha..
it's steamed milk + vanilla flavour!


and i always get the smallest size..quite expensive ma..
but it's good in the sense that it can make me grow taller and strengthen my bones..or something..
mostly it's because hot milk keeps me warm in the cruelly cold lecture theater (part of the reasons why i never attend lectures)


so when i received this card, i thought to myself, "i don't think i'll ever be able to redeem that free drink"

but i actually did it last semester..
as in i got all 10 boxes filled up..
and finally i redeemed a LARGE steamed milk this semester..haha
no restrictions or terms & conditions ma so might as well i make full use of it..
gotta make sure it's worth it since it sort of need RM73.50 to get that free drink..
cis..marketing scheme..


and this became my lunch for that particular day

everytime i go to the stall, the lady knows what i want even before i say it..
haha i guess not many ppl get steamed milk?

what's the point of this post?
i never actually thought of it before typing..
but now i realize-- there are things in life that you'll never know until you try it..
like before i never know what auditing is and whether i like it or not (in which i found out later after my intern that auditing is totally not for me)

all you need is the courage to put up the very first step and get started..

i really dont know what i'm trying to say here..
so, i'm calling it a day..for this post that is..haha
